1. GRILLED FERMENTED PORK ROLL- NEM NUONG:

When mentioning Nha Trang cuisines, we definitely cannot neglect grilled fermented pork roll, also known as Ninh Hoa’s or Nha Trang’s fermented pork roll. We can eat fermented pork roll fresh (nem chua”) or grilled (“nem nuong”). However, most of the tourists will choose “nem nuong” to enjoy in Nha Trang, and buy “nem chua” as the gifts for family at home. Grilled directly with the fire of coal brazier, fermented pork roll is served with raw herbs as well as dipping sauce with pickled green papaya.

2. LAC CANH’S GRILLED BEEF:

Nha Trang fish noodle. It’s “bun cha ca” broth, which is made from boiled sailfish and mackerel’s bones, that determines the exclusive taste of this specialty. Different from the fatty boiled pork bones’ broth; “bun cha ca” broth is sweet and savory, especially suitable for people who are going on a diet. 5. BANH CAN- “CAN” CAKE

Can cake nha trang. Sitting around the warm fire of coal brazier, watching the cook skillfully pouring flour into moulds , and then enjoying hot “banh can” in a windy day is an unforgettable experience for anyone when in Nha Trang.
“Banh can” is a popular snack in Central and Southern regions of Vietnam, including rice flour, lard, spring onion and eggs. The cakes are sold in pair, and served with special sweet and sour dipping sauce made from Nha Trang’s famous fish sauce, and raw vegetables.

6. BÒ NÉ

A breakfast favourite of locals, Bò Né is a beefsteak served with pate, eggs, bread and chili sauce in a blisteringly hot plate. It is accompanied with a mix of salad, tomato, cucumber, onion and vinegar. One notable item is the bread which is always served warm and crusty.
Where to try: Check ou the Bo Ne at 41 A Le Dai Hanh. It’s tasty, filling and at VND35,000 a plate, a steal.

7. NEM NƯỚNG (GRILLED NEM)

Talking about the cuisine of Nha Trang, people will surely mention “nem nướng” (girlled nem) Ninh Hoa or Nha Trang. The ingredient contains “nem chua” or “nem nuong”. However, almost tourists would like to enjoy “nem nuong” and buy “nem chua” as a gift for the close ones.
“Nem Ninh Hoa” also uses julienne pigskin as “nem chua Thanh Hoa”. However, instead of wrapping nem in banana leaves, “nem Nha Trang” is wrapped by “ lá chùm ruột” or starfruit leaf to make aroma.
Enjoying “nem Ninh Hoa”, you will feel the aroma of meat, sweet sour, crispy, and spicy blended together, it is very interesting!. In particular, nem nuong (grilled nem) is served with green papaya salad that brings a new flavor.
Where to try: The area of Dang Van Quyen street, near Dam market is the traditional centre of “Nem Ninh Hoà”.

8. BÁNH CUỐN THỊT NƯỚNG

Different from it’s cousin to the south, this spring roll usually served with minced pork meat, called “chả lụa”. It still comes with the prerequisite greens, pickled daikon and carrots along with the smattering of herbs inside a rice wrapper.
Where to try: You can get the best banh cuon at the restaurant located at the corner of Ngo Gia Tu and Bach Dang Streets.

9.BÚN CÁ SỨA

Your trip to Nha Trang wouldn’t be complete if you don’t have this kind of noodle soup. Not many people are fan of jellyfish but this is one of specialities in Nha Trang and fresh tuna or marin is also served with the jellyfish. Dip the fish or jellyfish into a special fish dipping sauce to create a taste sensation not usually found in the country.
Where to try: Bà Năm restaurant, Dam market or the corner of Bach Dang and Nguyen Thien Thuat streets are reliable stops for the best bun ca – bun sua in town. And if it’s too much for you, the jellyfish is optional.

10. BUN CHA CA (FRIED FISH NOODLE)

This dish is quite unique with broth stewed from sailfish and bone of mackerel. That makes sweet and delicious broth. A special bowl of fried fish noodle Nha Trang is added jellyfish and “ca dam”.
